Personality: Reeeally laid-back and calm. Really one of those chill teachers who rarely even punish his students unless what they do is REALLY bad. If you throw a paperball at him.. Well, if it hits, he will laugh along with you, if it doesn't.. He will throw it right back at you! And when he teaches, he is very much likely to sneak in random jokes or show students caricature-pictures related to the subject. |D Or then draw some pathetic stick-figure doodles on the blackboard as he explains something. (fav.me/d52016z) Oh.. And since most of the assignments given also will be recorded on the PI-Gear.. Well, PowerPoint is one of the very few computer-programs that he knows how to work and so.. But yes.. That is his way of making his classes fun. Also he may be seen sharing candy to students who work hard and also playing music from CDs during lessons, in foreingn languahes, of course.
And language history.. Ah.. That's so wonderful, neh~? How words came to be an all that.

((I've actually had his history thought up for a LOOOOONG time, but never really wrote it down. I wanted to keep it a secret and draw it as a comic. But as you can see.. I've still not done that. So I quess it's the same if I'll just type it here. I may still sometime in the future actually draw it up, but we'll see.. So yeah.. WALL TIME.))
History: He was born to an Italian-speaking family who again lived in a Finnish-speaking country. His parents had eloped together from their homeland, so they had no support from their families what-so-ever. And to make matters worse, they both were killed in some kind of an accident. What kind of accident? No one knows. They merely were found dead (or killed) one day and Luca, who was just an infant at the time, ended up being sent to a local orphanage. Even today, Luca has absolutely no idea what happened to his parents, but he doesn't really bother himself with it as it's not like he remembers them anyways. Heck, he met such awesome people at the orphanage that he has never had a reason to complain!
Yes, at the orphanage, he was taught both Finnish and English as his native languages. There were other people who spoke in different languages there as well. Swedish, Italian, Russian.. And many more! Not to mention all his friends. His best friend was a certain Fearow who was about his age, though the boy had a tendency to act like he was much younger! Always making a clown of himself.. The two were part of a certain clique, a group of 5 boys and one girl, who all were fascinated by, what? Motor vehicles! Especially motorbikes. But they were also.. Well, not exactly kind lil' angels. They often got into trouble for doing graffiti and sneaking out of the orphanage during nights to cause mischief. They all even got tattoos around their eyes to represent the Pokémon they were and the friendship they shared. Eventually the orphanage's staff pretty much stopped even caring about their antics. "They're just kids.. They'll grow out of it.." they said. WRONG. Well.. In most cases it was wrong. But indeed, the kids one day (Those who know Pit, can see where this is going) they met a certain person, the head of their hometown's largest criminal organization. The kids were absolutely mesmerized by the man's motorbike. It was a custom-made one, so of course they were. The man saw the curiosity in the youngster's eyes and thought they might just make good little errand-boys for him, especially since they all were Flying-type. He promised, that if the boys would help him, he would help them get their hands on some reeeaally nice bikes once they would turn 18 and be allowed to drive.
First he gave the boys only small things to do, but as the kids grew older, he gave them more and more responsobility. The man pretty much took the boys under his wing, started to pretty much treat the kids like they were his own children. He didn't officially adopt them as that might be bring suspicion towards him, but he did help them, especially financially, a lot. And yes, he kept his promise, all the kids got what they wanted, amazing high-tech (at the time) motorbikes and lot more. They became full-time members of the organization once the orphanage let them go.
But eventually..
Luca was the ONLY one out of that group who actually grew out of that criminal behaviour. And it wasn't because he started to feel quilty or anything, no, it was because something happened.
During a mission to deliver something to the leader of another smaller criminal organization in the neighbouring city, they were ambushed. Four of the boys were on the mission, Luca, his Fearow-, Pidgeot- and Staraptor-friends were involved in a violent gun-fight with the people of that other organization. The Pidgeot got away unscathed, the Staraptor got a bullet in his arm, and Luca got one that went in through his eye and came out through the bottom of his chin.
Luca woke up in the hospital the day after. The first thing in his mind was, of course, the fate of his friends, at that point he was on such heavy pain medications that he didn't even notice missing half of his area of sight. The sight of the unharmed Pidgeot, the Staraptor being awake and his fatherly 'boss' being there for them too calmed him down, but.. Where was the Fearow? Luca was given the Fearow's Sharp-Beak necklace that he always wore on his belt and no words were needed.
And that's when he decided to never do anything like that. He didn't want to ride a bike ever again, to never see that helmet again. Luca did always have another hobby, one that he would from that point one pay more attention to, languages. At that time it was mainly Swedish, but after the incident, languages like Latin and Italian soon followed. The leader of the organization understood and decided to leave Luca be. He still helped the buy like a father would, but he never made him go on those 'missions'. The two other boys carried on like before, but Luca became something else. He started to really studey languages, drowning his past as a juvenile delinquet into his studies.
It took him few years before he even deared to look at the bike of his. At that time he had graduated from a university as professor of linguistics, with the help of his 'father', of course. And yes.. He took up the old hobby again. Though because of his eye being lost in that shooting, driwing had become more difficult. He was still allowed to drive, strange as it might sound, but he rarely did as it obviously always was risky. Only during nighttime when people are off the streets and on the countryside, unless he REALLY needs to get somewhere fast.
But.. Enough of that, past is past and he really doesn't regret any of it. It made him what he is, so it's all fine, right? He still carries around that necklace as a good-luck charm and a memento. He actually has been teaching languages for quite a while, for years in different schools, even online! And now, he's in PokeInstitute, teaching these young whippersnappers the marvelous world of language.

- Can speak Finnish, English, Swedish and Latin, as well as a tiny amount of Japanese and Italian (As he's still studying the latter one).
- Likes sour foods and dislikes sweets. Well, he doesn't really DISLIKE sweets, but he just can't eat them too much. They make him nauseous easily. D:
- He lost his right eye when he was younger and has a glass eye to replace it (As I explained in the history). This causes his eyes to often look asymmetrical and he usually prefers to turn his head to the way he's looking over just glancing to the side. Seriously, it looks awkward if the other eye looks straight forward and the other to the side. x''D
OH. And he does have a scar on the bottom of his chin from where the bullet exited in the shooting.. But indeed, its barely noticeable as it healed quite well and is pretty much hidden. |D Though he DOES further hide it when he's at the school Aka, most of the time with some kinda make-up. He doesn't want the kids ask any questions. x'D
- He suffers from insomnia (The ability comes with a down side) which causes him to be a bit forgetful at times. In his younger days he got a pair of tattoos under his eyes to hide the dark bags under them.
- Even without the right eye, he has an exceptional eyesight, as Noctowls usually do. So even if he can't see deph and estimate distance, he only needs a faint light to see perfectly well.
- He always carries a Sharp Beak with him. He got it from a rather obscure friend of his when he was younger (AS I EXPLAINED.), and even if he finds it creepy as heck, he doesn't want to get rid of it.
- He can transform his arms into a pair of wings when he wants. It does not matter if he's wearing a jacket or not.
- He can turn his head around 180 degrees. Oh, he'll be having so much fun with this ability during the classes~<3
- He does not like people pointing out his belly. (Even if he's no all THAT chubby.) When he wears the jacket closed, it's barely noticeable, but he will not do so. Why? Because if people think he's skinny, they WILL mention it when they find out the truth, while if they know from the start, it's not surprising enough to be mentioned.
- He likes to write poetry in any language he's familiar with. He also enjoys visual arts and music, but has zero-talent in those..
- He's bad at using technology. With a computer, he can only use PowerPoint, and believe me, he LOVES to use those little animations. 8''D
- His voice would be the Finnish voice of Rasputin from the movie Anastasia. (www.youtube.com/watch?v=EEgtKT…)
