 Skills
 Wind Magic: Besides having wings, the winds truly are always in his favour! He can whip up rather strong winds if he just wishes to. Loves to use a strong gust of wind to make leaving an area more impressive. WHOOOSH! 
 Light Magic: Can bring light into the deepest darkness, be it summoning an orb of light and leaving it somewhere as a marker or causing a massive explosion of blinding light. The latter he likes to use for a stunning entrance.
 Flying: ... Obviously enough. And with the help of his magic, he can fly FAST even if he would be tired. Perfect for a messenger!
 Martial Arts: Despite his feminine appearance, he really is quite strong and has been taught to defend himself when needed.
 Sensing Emotional Auras: Although this skill isn't too honed, he is able to sense emotions to some extend. He generally can feel what a person he's near to is feeling currently and it actually starts to reflect in his feelings too if someone is feeling REALLY strongly about something or if a lot of people with the same emotions have gathered together. He actually likes to hang around near churches. So many people feeling so... calm...

 Personality 
Oh lord, this guy.. He has a bit of an angel-complex, being able to sense people's emotions, blessed with a multitude of pastelline wings and even serving the gods themselves.. How couldn't he? Truly, he is not a real angel, he just likes to think he is, and he looooves to have others think he is one too, making stunning entrances wherever he goes. And he probably would make quite a convincing pseudo-angel too! If.. He wasn't such a scatter-brained idiot. He frequently loses things. He does remember important appointments and who he is supposed to deliver the messages to, but often arrives empty-handed, having either misplaced or simply dropped the letter he was carrying. What a wonderful messenger he is.. One can only wonder how he got to a rank as high as he is in.
And whenever he loses a letter.. Well, he might try to act like it didn't happen. Like the letter never was. "Why did I come here..? Uhhhhhhhh... Just to check up on you, of course! Hellooo~. I'll be going now~. Byyyye~." And then he hurries back to try to find whatever he lost. Or when surrounded by people, he just tells a little white lie to cover up.. And then zoom off at the speed of light. Can't let the commoners see he messed up! Or anyone for that matter.. He's an angel! Angels don't make mistakes! And he really doesn't want to be mauled by an angry mob, eek.. He just doesn't take critique well. < u >
He is also somewhat gullible. He can sense people's emotions and has great confidence in his abilities there, but whenever he meets someone who is really good at hiding their true intentions.. He doesn't realize he's being fooled by the person's silver tongue. 

 History 
Ialo is one of the currently highest ranked messengers of the Deities. Delivering their messages from one to the other, and occasionally even to the commoners if the Gods have an announcement to make. He had been trained for his mission specifically ever since he was small. Somehow he ended up in the hands of the priests who trained the messengers when he was an infant and thus he never knew his parents (if he even had them, who knows..) and that just adds to his angel-complex. He is the only male messenger in recorded history and no one knows why he was chosen. The commoners don't really think about it much, but could it be he was mistaken for a girl? Or were the priests fascinated by the elements he had been blessed with in birth? Either way, he wasn't raised any different from the girls and thus some might call him girly. He grew to love light colours and jewelry, anything fit for an angel! To him, these things aren't girly, though. They're just something majority of the divine messengers he knew enjoyed! Why would that be something for a specific gender?
He knows he's different, being a man, but no one ever taught him why in order to minimize the risk of him getting distracted or starting to misbehave. He honestly doesn't even care what the genders are about! He really thinks he's just as manly as his gender would dictate! (Even if he doesn't quite get it.) And... he lives for his work anyways... Still, why were the girls all taught to slap him if he misbehaves or makes them uncomfortable (even by accident), but he's not allowed to touch them in anything more than a brief hug? How was that supposed to be fair?

Who knows how he got to a rank as high as he is in now, maybe he covered up his mistakes really well, maybe it's just his speed in flying. It's a true mystery.. But he does have passion for his destiny as a messenger! There is nothing he'd rather be! And even if he messes up often, he does get the job done, one way or another..

Familiar's Name: Fami
Familiar's Personality Fami rarely hangs around Ialo. She is a really small familiar, no bigger than his own hand! Ialo usually leaves her with one of the Gods or in some other safe place where she can rest and eat (She's quite a round girl for that reason!) and the few times he does have her around.. It's more than likely he loses her somewhere. Ialo stops to check on something, Fami sees something interesting and hops off him, Ialo zooms off and Fami is left behind. Oh well.. At least she's so small people prolly won't notice her anyways!

Extra:
His clothing design is loosely based on Ancient Assyrian clothing with a medieval twist. xD It's not a dress! He himself really doesn't think he looks girly one bit! HE'S MANLY AS H*LL. Or more, angelic as... Heaven?
He likes gold. A lot. Like a looooot. And so does Fami. He happily accepts any gift he might get if it's gold! Gimmegimme!
Ialo's eyes are slightly darker than Fami's. It's hardly noticeable but true! Also, Fami has no visible pupils. And.. Fami loves amethysts while Ialo prefers crystal. And they both wear those for their accessories. They just couldn't get into agreement on those!
The four wings on their heads are movable but serve no real purpose besides appearance. They do give a rather impressive halo of feathers when properly flared out!
Ialo can put up quite a wrestle if he wants to. He never would use a weapon, and would prefer escaping if he ends up in a tight situation, but can deliver a nasty punch or kick if someone tries to steal his mail or jewelry..
