SKETCH DUMP TIME! Since it's been sooo long since the last one and these kinda piled up again--. Though as usual, this only has my digital sketches, I have waaaaaay more in traditional, but I'm way too lazy to scan THOSE now! But have some of my digital ones indeed--. It's not quite all of those either as I do have some that I plan on finishing and would rather not show before I'm done, but--. Yes! Scribbles!

This is from last year's spring, actually! Dj was showing off a quick sketch, and I got curious about what I could draw in just 5 minutes too. Partially because I was indeed curious, and partially because I had to brb is... 5 minutes. And the SKETCH of this was from that! And because I felt like uploading it now, I decided to slap some colour onto it now too, so many months later. Simply because I wanted this sketch dump to be colourful! So have... a topless Ilka. Yaaay. 8'D Ignore anatomical anomalies. I could have fixed them now too, but I wanted to keep the sketch in its original made-in-5-minutes glory!

A random headshot of C! Only... it's not quite that random, as it's actually my concept-picture for the headress that Ilka gave her for Christmas Candle Festival! A dainty flower made of lavender fabric, lined with silver and finished up with a cloudy mountain crystal that Ilka hunted down himself! He had someone in his church made the accessory itself as he DEFINITELY isn't that crafty himself--. He did give her a burn-carved box for it too, and that one he did decorate himself on the most part! _{He is into fancy patterns and architechture after all-.}

Teeeny tiny headshot of Inra-. Because I wanted a coloured ref of his face for myself. Despite his attitude, he is actually a rather handsome young man! More masculine than Ilka, so indeed.. More handsome, less pretty. Oh, and yes... One-sided braid because making a braid that goes straight down ALL BY YOURSELF is a bit tricky. So he decided to go the laze-way and just make it like this. That is, whenever it's not hidden under his helmet and cape's collar!
_{Fun fact: His hair is actually slightly translucent. You can't really see THROUGH it, but it does appear slightly bluish in natural light, and overall just seems a different colour depending on the lighting. If you've ever had a pure white wig made of heat-resistant fibers, you know what I mean-.}

Aaand this one... is from that one Mission-RP with Rothie and Aqua, the one where Ilka got a personal mission from Kain and attacked the hooded figure in Norietaia, or more, just outside Norietaia. And when he realized what he had done... he felt bad, so bad. Here we have a quick scribble of him pretty much clinging to C after explaining what happened and telling her how glad he is that she isn't mad at him. Or doesn't think that he's a bad guy for hurting someone and running off like he did... Why did I draw it? Because I had a hard time figuring out HOW Ilka pulled off his sudden twist-hug and had to draw it out before I could even write it! So yes, a quick sketch to explain things to myself-. And decided to colour it later on because why not-.

A really random sketch. But me and Aqu were talking about things and somehow the topic went to Ilka being the cat he is and kneading on Brenton when his back would feel sore. And this is what I got out of that! The perspective is off like a carton of blobby milk, but it's SOMETHING. More people need to get closer to Ilka and earn the kitty-kneads. I swear it's a great stress-reliever! _{And yes. This is from last summer. Hence the brown Brent. I don't have anything of Ghosty brent yet. At least... N-nothing that I'd dare to show! *Glances back to this one super-creepy headshot of Brent laughing like this one YouTuber, oh lord, spare me-*}

~8. and 9.~

NUMBER 8 IS NOT WHAT IT SEEMS. These two are quick scribbles of things that happened last summer when Ilka tried to make Brent feel better when he was feeling bad over stuff he couldn't talk to Ilka about. Ilka could see Brenton was tense as heck and thus... he challenged him to a play-fight! How? Well, he simply lured Brent to the edge of a field of flowers, stripped off his own armour to feel lighter and suddenly LUNGED at Brent and tackled him to the ground! A random Idea I got during Midsummer when there we passed by so many fields of flowers on our way to my grandpa's place. ;U; And yes, in 8 Ilka is pinning Brent down by clinging to his midriff and nuzzling his face to his chest and in 9 Brent took advantage of himself being slightly taller than Ilka and lifted him up like that! Only to scare the catnip out of Ilka by doing a little prank after that! _{How? I think we will someday upload that RP so you might see then, maybe. I... really should reply to it again, LOL. Been so long- 8'D} I kinda would like to finish these two properly someday... Indeed, maybe someday?

Just a random dreamy-looking Ilka I should probably have moved in with the chibi-headshot collection of number 14-. But oh well! Too lazy to move it there now! Just Ilka having fallen into his daydreams. Whatever could he be thinking about..?

This one's from a more recent thing. It's from when Ilka and C came to find Brenty's dead body... And later on caught up with his ghost self too! This scene happened after Ilka and C helped Ghost-Brent with his injuries and finally were able to go get some rest. C went to sleep a bit further awa because she wasn't overly comfy with sleeping near Brenton and Ilka didn't like the idea of her sleeping alone. So the two slept beside each other while leaning to a tree stump... and because of random OoC chatting, we decided that Ilka would in his sleep flop over and end up sleeping with his head on her lap. Just because we wanted to cause awkward things! XD _{She woke up before him, but didn't dear to wake him up. Hence Ilka's lack of fiery ears and C's open eyes. Poor girl!}

Just Ilka hugging a pillow! And... blushing a little? I have no memory of why I drew this, but guess I wanted to draw him hugging a pillow and looking like a silly derp-. Who might he be looking at, I wonder..? _{Knowing the status of his heart-chart it's prolly C. Or then someone who happened to walk by and catch his attention while he was thinking about her. In which case he would pretty much snap into a surprised : o face less than a second after this one!} A really random doodle that hardly is worth showing, but oh well.

I swear to Arceus. I always do this; give two pictures the same number. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
But yes--. Here we have Ilka's parents. His father is grooming mother's hair as his people usually do to show affection. Remember kids, if Ilka offers to brush your hair, he thinks pretty-dang warmly of you! Not crush-warmly, but family-like warmly! _{His mom's ear fluffs and tail are so poofy. Good lord.}

A random sketch of Echo! Drawn over livestream. I... don't really have much to say about this one--. I just was struggling for ideas and just drew something! It was also late at night so it's a bit derp anyways-.

I felt like drawing expressions. 'Nuff said.
Thinking-Ilka, Pouty-Ilka and 3 shades of BLUSH. Because embarrassed characters are fun to draw.
EXPRESSIONS. I love drawing expressions, yes-. Whenever I get an excuse.

I was asked to draw kitty-cuddles, so I did! And I asked who to throw Ilka at, and I was given... Phaedra! So I drew Ilka kittyhugging her! Though then I realized she is SO TINY compared to Ilka, so in the end I had him kinda just flop-glomp her from behind! Tiniest mommy-deer. XD
And then we have a GROUP HUG that makes everyone but Ilka awkward! Especially when this was drawn during the time when the relationship between C and Brent was pretty awkward with him feeling guilty over her death and her just... being awkward. BUT ILKA IS NEVER AWKWARD. HUG ALL THE FRIENDS. NUZZLE ALL THE FRIENDS.

And lastly we have Ilka feeding the tiny baby Meowth he found in that one story! Basically it's just him playing mommy, laying on his back and having the baby cat drink... some kinda mixture of Gogoat milk and eggs, maybe? Hard to tell, I'm not 100% sure what one should feed an orphaned kitten when you don't have ready-made supplements at the ready, but I have a feeling Ilka's uncle would know, being both a feline and a healer! So there.
